Friends at the lake

Ben and I had the opportunity to take a couple of families down to the lake with us in June.
This is the first time in years that Kinley and Ty have had any of their friends at the lake to play with and they were in heaven!
It opened up a whole new world of fun for them and appreciation for the lakehouse.
It was crowded and fun, just the way we like it.
Group kid shot...best we could get.

We utilized all the watercraft possible!
The girls learned how to stand and paddle on the SUP Board. We would just strap it to our heels while sitting on the dock and let them play.

This is how you feed 10 kids at meal time...paper plates on the floor.

The most dramatic point of the weekend for us was when Kinley's front tooth became extremely loose. She panics when she thinks something might hurt and pulling her tooth pretty much put her over the edge. When it was bleeding on her food Ben and I finally insisted we just pull it and talked to her for probably 30 minutes with no success.
Finally she said she was ready but only if Leslie would pull it.
So, she did and then we had a cute toothless grinning girl!

It was such a fun, spontaneous weekend and we can't wait for more friends to come down another time!
